ARAI has launched the Technical Support Cell (TSC) to provide a single-window system for certification to startups, MSME and unorganized sectors viz., Bus body builders, Truck and Trailer manufacturers. The inception comes with the rise in participation from startups and MSMEs in the auto sector and the need to guide them towards the respective department for R&D support, testing and certification under the aegis of Indian rules and policies.

From understanding the product to guiding them as per Indian Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR) for approvals, ARAI Technical Support Cell is well-equipped to provide guidance on each step of product development, vehicle testing and validation. Under TSC, ARAI provides following services:
