The EDS Laboratory at ARAI is one of the major R&D verticals, having core competence in New Product Development & Simulation. With state-of-the-art computational infrastructure and expertise available as a ‘Simulation Lab’, EDS offers customized solutions for customers from Vehicle Concept to Certification through Simulation. Areas of EDS domain expertise include Crashworthiness & Occupant Safety, Durability, NVH, CFD, MBD, EMI/EMC and Manufacturing Process Simulation. EDS also offers Benchmarking and Inspection solutions through a portable 3D Scanning Facility. Finally, EDS also executes a number of design projects regularly, not only for the automotive industry, but also for allied engineering applications including medical device, national defence and perimeter security sectors.
