- ARAI is equipped with the NABL Accredited facility of Reverberation chambers to evaluate Random Incidence Sound Absorption coefficient and NRC as per ISO 354 / ASTM 423 / IS 8225
- Air borne sound transmission loss of building components like roofing systems, double wall partitions, doors, glass etc as per ISO 10140-2 / ASTM E 90 / ISO 15186-1 / SAE J 1400
- Impact isolation class evaluation for roofing systems to simulate rain noise and stone stamping noise condition
- Onsite evaluation of reverberation time – RT, field sound transmission class – FSTC, sound reduction and sound absorption of products like roofing system, façade elements, baffles, clouds, ceiling systems etc.
- Sound quality parameter evaluation – Speech intelligibility at site for auditoriums, conference halls
- Evaluation and noise source identification of different noise sources like generator sets, compressors, engine preparation bay area, HVAC systems
- Evaluation of road noise barriers as per EN 1793 / EN 1794 / ASTM 492, Global test standards and IRC guidelines in lab and at site
