- Large Roll set with surface Coating with 2.5m (98-inch) diameter. The rolls are manufactured with ASTM- A-516 Grade 70 Carbon steel & Tungsten carbide coating

- This dyno can take Tandem Axle vehicle for testing which has distance of 1.3 m to 1.8m in driven axles
- In this facility, all EV-HEV vehicles/ buses, Diesel , CNG, LPG, LNG, flexi fuel etc., development work can be taken to cater todays customer’s need
- In this temperature controlled test cell at ARAI Kothrud, Exhaust gas Emission Measurement system for CO, HC, NOX, CO2, Fuel consumption and PM using PEMS
- Electric Vehicle Range test, energy consumption and various development test can done . Charger for these vehicles is installed in HCV
- A 100kW resistive 2 Nos. load banks was recently added to the setup to increase the test cell’s operating temperature to 50 degrees Celsius. Due to this hot summer trials for Engine calibrations on HCVs can be performed on this chassis dynometer.

Sealed Housing For Evaporative Determination(SHED)
- Compliance to Indian, European, EPA and CARB Regulations

- The 87.48 m3 volume SHED facility has the wide temperature range of 15 oC – 50 oC

Engine Dynamometer Test Facilities
- Compliance with BS II, BS III, BS IV, BS IV, Euro IV, Euro V, Euro VI, EPA and future norms
- Evaluation of engine emission (Engine steady state Cycle & Engine Transient cycle), power test, smoke test
- Steady state dynamometer facility is equipped with Engine dynamometer, Raw emission analyzer bench, Partial flow PM sampling system, dynamic fuel meter, fuel and coolant conditioning unit, Smoke meter
- Steady-state dynamometer capacity: 20 kW, 150 kW
- Transient state dynamometer facility is equipped with engine dynamometer, full flow CVS and dilution tunnel system, Dilute emission analyzer bench, Dynamic Fuel meter, fuel and coolant conditioning unit, Smoke meter, FTIR for NH3 measurement, PN measurement system, High altitude simulation up to 5500 feet
